Description: Three Strand Cafe Au Lait Nested Glass Pearls - These are the nicest vintage costume pearls that I have had in a long time. Three strands of graduated glass pearls, nested for perfect fit, with pearls ranging from 5mm at the back to 10 mm at the center front. Center pearls tend to be oval shaped rather than perfectly round, giving this an elegance that you don't normally find in costume pearls. This has been completely restrung and hand-knotted on cream colored silk thread and finished with french wire; fancy rhinestone clasp has push-in mechanism. Strands including clasp range from 16" for inner strand to 18" for outer strand. If you have watched the movie "Gone With the Wind" and noticed the necklace that Scarlet wears in the wedding scene (to her first husband), these look to be extremely similar. Description: Single Strand Taupe and Grey Glass Pearl Necklace with Rhinestone Rondelles - Unusual combination of dark taupe and grey costume pearls - side strands alternate colors while center front largest pearls are all grey. Center pearls alternate with clear rhinestone rondelles. Push-in clasp. Pearls graduate in size from 4mm to 11mm. Length is just shy of 22". Excellent condition. This may be a case of two strands put together to make a longer strand, as I notice two of the rondelles are a different (older) style than the other 6, this can only be seen on really close scrutiny.
