Description: Deep Blue Floral Earrings with Clear RS Centers - These earrings are a deep blue in person, almost cobalt in color. Rectangular octagon stones are prong set, centers are paste set clear rounds. Clip mechanisms are the etched floral triangular type that are similar to what Bogoff used but these look earlier than Bogoff. 1" in diameter. Description: Unsigned Staret? Brooch in Deep Blue and Clear Rhinestones - I have seen this feather brooch before, both signed and unsigned, but the signed ones have always been Staret. This features almost cobalt colored fire polished marquises and lots of clear stone work. Description: Capri and Clear Rhinestone Brooch and Earring Set - Capri, also sometimes called peacock blue, is a wonderful blue with a hint of green, more blue than green but not green, just a very deep turquoise that is on the blue side. A popular color in the 1960's, this is not used all that frequently, and when it is, it is often mixed into a multi color piece, rather than by itself or with clear. This set is all prong set, using "skinny" navettes. Brooch is layered and domed, with top layer of multi-prong set clears, surrounded by a row of diagonally set navettes that is slightly lower, and that row is surrounded by another row of diagonally set navettes, which is again slightly lower. Earrings again use multi prong set clears, connected by clear rhinestone chain, and flanked with single navettes on either side. Brooch is 2 5/8" x 1 1/2" x 1/2" deep. Earrings are 1 1/2" x 5/8", clip mechanisms, flexible dangles. This looks a lot like D&E (Juliana) but clip mechanism, though top quality, is not one that they are known to have used. Description: Citrine and Smokey Topaz Rhinestone Ladder Bracelet - This looks like many of the wide faux moonstone/ rhinestone combination bracelets that I have had over the years, but this is done in all rhinestone. Smokey topaz square octagons (emerald cuts) alternate with Colorado topaz oval rhinestones in the center of the bracelet, with the borders being smokey topaz dentelles alternating with citrine rhinestones. All prong set, brass setting, with jeweled push-in v clasp and safety chain. Other than a little spotting on one of the oval stones everything is in excellent condition. 7" x 1 1/8". Description: Pastel Rhinestone and Enamel Trembler Brooch - Floral themed brooch has a dragonfly "trembler" in the center. Beautiful shades of pink, lavender, yellow and aqua flowers, centered with corresponding pastel rhinestones, have bright green leaves. Description: Unsigned Hollycraft Christmas Tree Pin - This is a really nice tree pin, with all the earmarks of Hollycraft, including the correct type of pinback and plating, just no signature. 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" with a very nice combination of flat and pointed back stones. Description: Unsigned Haskell? Wood and Silk Cord Necklace - This is a fun to wear necklace that works well almost any time of year. Dark green silk cord is done in a modified bib with graduating wood beads and green sequins. Closure is a button thru a loop, with the hand sewing decorated, both inside and out, with more green sequins (only Haskell seems to have done this type of labor, using components in places both seen and unseen.) Wood beads are held in place with small fluted brass endcaps on both top and bottom. Silk cord is the type used by Haskell. Originally this had 13 rather than 12 dangles; one was damaged when I received it so I removed it. Other than some wear darkening on the silk cord I see no other issues. 16" when clasped. Description: Green Enameled "Cone" Christmas Tree Pin - Again, this looks like one of the ART trees from the from the enameled "cone" pieces; even Morrison lists one that is almost identical to this but in red as unsigned ART. This does NOT have streaks in the enameling, this is reflection of overhead lighting in the shiny enamel paint. Description: Half of Coro Duette - Fur Clip in Butterscotch Moonstones - An extremely well known Coro design, in a highly unusual color. I have seen these done in several colors but never this color. A few of the rhinestones are replacements but otherwise very nice, with two small dings on the enameling, which is virtually the same butterscotch color as the faux moonstones. Unsigned, as these were usually signed on the frame and not the dress/furclip. About 1 1/4" in both directions. If you have the match to this I would be happy to purchase! Description: Red Green Clear Candle Tree Pin - In Trowbridge this is listed as a Lisner design, but this is unmarked. All prong set stones, this uses clear baguette candles along the edges, a clear pear for a star, and the green rhinestones branches are accented with large red and clear rhinestones, with a single red baguette and a large clear for the base. 2 1/2" x 1 3/4". Goldtone, excellent condition. Original price tag on back indicates this was sold at Dayton-Hudson's after being taken over by Marshall Field's. Description: 1940's Basket of Flowers Brooch - Black enamel basket with goldtone and rhinestones supports a pink rhinestone flower with green enamel leaves and two blue enamel tulips. Blue enamel is more of a light blue than the more aqua tones that show on my monitor. Description: Dagger and Scabbord Double Chatelaine Pin - This is a variation of the Rice Werner design shown in American Costume Jewelry by Roberto & Carla Brunialti on pg. 240., but without enameling and using fewer rhinestones, so this is probably a period copy. Regardless, it is a nice piece that doesn't come along very frequently. Can be worn either with the dagger in the scabbord or out, as both pieces have pinbacks. Assembled the piece is 4" x 1 1/4". Very good condition, point of dagger has a tiny gouge, and some of the clears are replacements with more contemporary cuts than the original fire polished ones. Description: Unsigned Coro Mr. & Mrs. Bird Chatelaine Double Pin Set - This is an early Coro piece - note the use of c-clasps on both pieces. Done in brass with a red cabochon body and clear rhinestones that are original on the wings; chatelaine chain also looks to be original. There is some white on the back of the Mr. Bird but it does not show from the front and I am reluctant to try to clean it off. I see no other problems with these pieces. Description: Floral Brooch with Blue Faux Moonstone Cabochons, Enamel and Rhinestones - A lovely piece, very Trifari looking, but unsigned. Baby blue glass cabochons act as flowers, while green enameled leaves and brown and green enameled stems are encircled with pave set ribbon, with additional clear rhinestone accent pieces on and around the flowers. White enameled sections are also at the base of the two larger blue moonstones. 3" x 2". Condition is very good but has enamel loss on edge of left leaf (spot on right leaf is camera reflection and NOT enamel loss) and on the center stem near the bottom. One smaller blue moonstone has a scratch and one large and one small moonstone have color wear spots. Description: Floral Brooch with Deep Blue Stones - This piece also uses lots of clear rhinestones and black enameling; blue stones are oval with two unfoiled and one foiled. It is very similar to a Trifari Philippe design for a pin (fur) clip from August of 1940, and this appears to have had the pin back replaced professionally and might have had a pin clip originally, which would have probably been where the Trifari mark was. I have also seen marked Trifari pieces that are also similar to both this and the August 1940 patent, but are not identical to either one. So even while the dimensions are exactly the same as the patent (2 5/8" x 2") this will remain a mystery. Item: UP9-382 Price: $69.50 US |

Description: DeLizza and Elster? Juliana Necklace and Earring Set in Smoky and Madeira Topaz - I have not had this set confirmed but it certainly looks like a definite possibility. Huge marquises in smoky topaz are surrounded by smaller marquises and Madeira rhinestone chain. Clip earrings are 1 3/8" x 7/8"; adjustable necklace adjusts to 14". One earring is showing some foiling problems on the large stone but the flash on my camera makes it look MUCH worse than it is in person; in person you would not even notice it. Description: Pin/Pendant with Faux Tortoiseshell - I have had this same design signed Florenza. Center cabochon is surrounded by small clear rhinestones and small white faux pearls. Dangle matches cabochon, with rhinestone rondelle and brass accent pieces. Description: Huge Plume Pin in All Clear Rhinestones - Book piece, shown in one of Cherie Simmonds books, this was also done in colored stones with clears and faux moonstones with clears. Here is the classic all clear version. 3 7/8" x 2 1/4" at widest points. Larger stones are dentelles (fancy cut) rounds, which the remaining stones all clear pave. Approximately 150 stones, all look to be original. As to be expected in a legitimate 70+year old piece, most of the stones have darkened mildly, and a couple are quite dark, but I don't find this to be offensive but adds to the charm of the piece.
