The brooch is 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is in pristine condition, never worn. Even the box and sleeve are in very good-excellent condition, with just a little bit of wear on the corners. Description: Taylord Sterling/Goldfilled Bow Brooch - A lovely retro piece from an almost unknown company. I tried to get a photo of the cartouche, which says TAYLORD in the center, sterling on top and 1/20-12KT (traditional GF marking) on the bottom. The center of the bow, which is sterling, is set with 4 clear bead-set stones, and in a parallel line, 5 tiny square sapphire blue stones. Asymmetrical bow has ties to one side, I am assuming the gold colored ribbon part of the bow is the GF part and the silver setting is sterling, but it could be vice versa. About 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". Very nice condition, with only the minute scratches one always finds on these pieces. I think you could safely say this is rare. Item: SP3-933 Price: $49.50 US |

All pieces marked S.A.L. and copyright symbol, earrings on original card, which reads Savvy TM by Swarovski (registered mark), Swarovski full lead crystal, surgical steel posts. Excellent, probably unworn condition. The earrings originally retailed for $30., so this set is priced at about 1/2 of what it would have sold for about 20 years ago. Description: Property of a Lady Enamel & Rhinestone Necklace - Not a signature that you're familiar with? I have been unable to find out very much about this line, though apparently it is from the late 1990's, and perhaps Canadian based. Unusual logo is a large P with a script "L" to the left of the P. This measures about 18" x 3/4", slightly domed top, with dark blue enameled and rhinestone set links alternating with curved goldtone bands. Nice weight, hidden push-in clasp, original white velvet and red leatherette presentation box. Excellent condition. Item: SN1-902 Price: $99.50 US ![]() |

Description: Schwob Pin Watch - Swiss watch, , marked Schwob on the face, with hands, and numerals in goldtone. Also has seconds hand, with the seconds marked off by tens. Setting function works properly, and the watch works intermittently, but not all the time, so I am selling it "as is". Floral and leaf design, base metal with somewhat worn gold plating. 3" x 2 1/8". I am not knowledgeable about watches, so am guessing this to be 1920's or earlier. Item: SPW2-903 Price: $49.50 (As Is) US |

Description: Razza "Taurus the Bull" Pendant Necklace - From the late 1960's when all things Zodiac-related were popular, this was part of a series of 12. I have seen slightly different versions of the Razza bull, this one uses a heavy plastic head rivteted to a goldtone collar, with goldtone ball eyes and goldtone ears. Chain is 20" and looks to be original but is unmarked; only the head is signed Razza. Pendant is 2" x 2" and about 3/4" deep, very three dimensional. Excellent condition, chain has darkened a bit with time. Item: SN6-841 Price: $47.50 US ![]() |

Description: Joan Rivers Black and White Polka Dot Enamel Floral Brooch -Thought this is probably technically not vintage, it does qualify as "pre-owned)", and is a very wearable piece. 2 1/4" in diameter and about 1/2" deep, this has layered enameled petals in a floral design. Excellent condition, goldtone setting. Makes a nice contrast with a white jacket or blazer, add a black dress or black jeans and you have a pulled together outfit. Description: Napier Huge Goldtone Floral Brooch - If you think all metal pieces are ho-hum, think again. At almost 5 1/2" x 2" x 1/2" deep, this piece is no wallflower! I can't tell you exactly what flower this is supposed to be but it reminds me of the ruffled petunias I have seen, or perhaps carnations. Excellent condition with only minimal scratching on the stems. Napier continues to catch on with knowledgeable collectors. Item: SP5-845 Price: $35.00 US |

Description: Fabulous West German Aqua Bead Fringed Bib Necklace and earrings Set - Featuring opaque unfaceted beads and translucent faceted beads in aqua, this has the look and workmanship of a Haskell piece without the price. Main necklace strand is wired, with graduating clumps of beads that are about 1 1/2" long dangling at the center. Necklace has an adjustable hook chain; clip earrings use the same motif as the dangles, and are about 1 3/4" from top of the goldtone ball. Hook is marked Western Germany (very difficult to read), otherwise no markings. The dangling beads use the fluted brass endcaps that give this a Haskellesque flair. Very flattering on and excellent condition. Because of its adjustability this should fit almost anyone, and extension chain(s) could be lengthened if needed. Description: Wiesner Aqua and Clear Bracelet - Though not a match for the basket brooch (above) since this has aqua navettes instead of ovals, this would still make an excellent go-with. Link style bracelet has a pair of aqua navettes in each link, with a rhinestone set circle and rhinestone set connecting links. Silvertone setting, probably rhodium plate. 7 1/4" x 1/2", in excellent condition, though several of the small clears are replacements. Wiesner is infrequently found. Description: Pearlcraft Pink Crystal and Clear Rhinestone Earrings - This is only the 2nd or 3rd pair of Pearlcraft earrings that I have had, but they are excellent quality, with lots of expensive components. The pink crystal is a really beautiful shade, a little more intense and on the blue side of pink rather than the peachier pinks. Every crystal bead is attached with a rhinestone headpin - for you beaders out there, you know how expensive rhinestone headpins are, 36 headpins in all! You could not make these earrings for this price. Signed Pearlcraft on the clip findings. A few tiny dings in the silvertone finish on the backs, otherwise excellent if not perfect condition. Description: Joan Rivers Maltese Cross Brooch and Earrings Set - Or, a square brooch set on the diagonal, if you prefer. Nonetheless nicely done and an unusual but very wearable color combination. Very nice quality unfoiled glass pear shaped stones in smokey topaz are flanked by sets of three multi prong set golden topaz marquisesand separated by filigree balls on top of a set of three small leaves, all centered with a single black diamond rhinestone. Clip earrings alternate prong set topaz marquises with slightly smaller filigree balls, all around a light smoked topaz rhinestone that is multi prong set. Brooch is 3" in diameter, earrings are 1". Setting is a pewtery colored metal. All is in perfect condition. Joan has sold her not-inexpensive jewelry on QVC for along time, I am guessing over 20 years, and I have no idea of the age of this set. Item: SS3-779 Price: $35.00/set US |

Description: Tortolani Goldtone Pendant - While I don't normally handle this kind of item, because Tortolani is difficult to find I decided to put it on the website. Very standard pendant design circa 1960; front side is excellent, back side is slightly worn at rubbing points but photo makes it look more worn than it is in person. This came to us without a chain; in fact, bale is large enough that it would accomodate almost inside of chain/omega/ribbon that you would care to thread it on. However I have included a long (28") chain in case you need one. Pendant is 1 1/2 in diameter and kind of domed. Item: SN7-783 Price: $15.00 US ![]() |

Description: 1928 Brand Necklace and Earring Set - Beautiful glass pearl three strand necklace with large center of an unfoiled glass aqua oval, surrounded by a row of clear rhinestones, then a row of oval pearl cabochons and swirls of clear rhinestones. strands have 7mm cream colored pearls with clear rhinestone rondelles and side stations of aqua ovals with three clear rhinestones on either end. Necklace has adjustable hook and tail, with 1928 hangtag. Adjusts to about 20 inches, center is 2" x 2 1/4". Earrings imitate the center of the center plaque. Pierced, 1" x 3/4". Probably worn once. The only thing that keeps this set from being mint condition is that the glue that holds the aqua glass in the earrings has yellowed. I think this could be removed and the glass reset but I will leave that to the new owners. This set originally retailed for around $150.00 - earring card still has original $35.00 price tag. This is probably about 20 years old. Item: SS7-733 Price: $85.00/set US |

Description: Tortolani Faux Pearl/Goldtone Demi Parure - Necklace, earring and brooch set from a rare but highly esteemed company, which was in production from 1950 to 1976. Noted for their beautiful designs and excellent workmanship, these pieces epitomize this reputation. Description: Early 1940's Huge Reinad Floral Brooch - Reinad jewelry is scarce, and large (4 3/8" x 2 5/8") multi layer pieces are a "once every 20 years if you're lucky" find. This is the only piece I've seen in person. Goldtone, prong set purple stones in second layer are accented with bead set clears and a pave set crescent shape, from which emanates a 5-fingered layer with an underlayer of 7 clear rhinestone set fingers. Purple layer surmounts an all-metal layer of leaves, which sits atop of another layer of leaves which have a ruffled appearance and are bordered with small clears, all atop pave set stems. This item has some condition issues; quite a few of the clears are replacements, and the top "five fingers", as well as back of piece, show plating wear. All metal layeralmost appears to be sterling, as it is a different color, almost rose gold in appearance but somewhat darkened. However, design, rarity, size, and beauty far outweigh these relatively minor condition issues. As one well-known jewelry author says, "if you find a piece of Reinad, buy it". Description: Bettina Von Walhof Eagle Pin with Flag - This piece is not particularly old but certainly works well with vintage pieces. Bettina specializes in figurals done with rhinestone chain, and here she has cleverly used it for a dangling flag in red/white, and blue, beneath an eagle in light and medium topaz with a clear rhinestone head and neck. Gunmetal type setting, signed B&M von Walhof in script inside a heart shaped plaque, for Bettina and Michelle (her daughter). Almost 2" x 1 3/4". Excellent unworn condition. Description: Selini Floral Brooch in Purple, Yellow and Green - Apparently part of the Selro jewelry company, Selini made all rhinestone pieces as well as those that combined enamel with rhinestone. This has not only enamel and purple rhinestones but yellow plastic floral "stamens" that scream 1960's and make this three dimensional piece not only look quite realistic but utterly charming as well. The lavender enameling is wearing along the edges of the petals (one petal in particular shows enamel loss) and very slight loss of the green enamel along the edges; however the missing enamel along the edges almost looks like part of the design and I find this piece very attractive as is. However, I have priced accordingly. About 3" x 2 1/2" x 3/4" deep.

Description: Panetta Dangling Rhinestone Earrings - Panetta, another rarely found company, was started by a man who had been a fine jeweler in Italy before moving to America, and when you see a piece of Panetta you can certainly tell that influence. Floral motif tops are have prong set clears and surmount a pave set elongated Y shape, from which an unfoiled pendaloque cut pear shape is suspended. Description: Lovely Joseph Wiesner NY Basket Brooch - The flowerbasket motif is one of my favorites - if you have seen the book "All My Baskets" you know how many beautiful designs there are. Joseph Wiesner seems to be kind of a mystery figure in the jewelry world, with little known about him. It does appear that he is not the same as "Wiesner of Miami". At any rate, aqua and clear rhinestones seems to be a favorite color combination of this company, and I would guess this to be late 1940's-early 1950's. A large 2 5/8" x 2 5/8", this features one large a many small aqua rhinestone ovals, and the rest in clear round rhinestones. Silvertone setting, excellent condition. Item: SP1-610 Price: $99.50 US |

Description: Nettie Rosenstein Sterling Fur Clip - One of the fashion industry icons from the 1920's-1950's, Rosenstein's name is synonomous with elegance and taste, and her better jewelry items are sought after and not easy to find. Because of the use of sterling on this piece I would date it to the early to mid 1940's. This uses a leaves and berries motif, with coral colored glass wound beads topped with black glass dots. I'm not sure what berry this is supposed to portray. At any rate, while this is not in perfect condition, it is a worthy addition to any jewelry collection and extremely wearable. There are two black glass dots missing on one berry but the bead can be rotated so that those are on the back side. Vermeil (goldtone over sterling) finish is worn along edges but is still in quite good condition compared to many pieces of the same time frame/materials. About 2" x 1 3/4", clip mechanism is tight. Oh so pretty on black, coral, or even white. Classic design means wearable forever. Item: SF1-584 Price: $159.00 US |

Clip earrings are 1 3/4" x 1 1/4". Adjustable chain necklace is 16" with a 1 3/4" tail extension. Pendant is 2 1/2" from top of bale to tip. Description: Otis Sterling Deco Style Brooch - This was a design that Otis used for not only brooches but bracelets and necklaces as well. The Otis "look" seems to have always been a fine jewelry one, using lots of small stones. This particular piece uses rounds, baguettes and squares, with the focal point being a kind of wheel in the center flanked by open circles and bars at either end. All clear rhinestones are used with all being paste set except for the baguettes that have end pronging. All seems original and in excellent shape, with some uniform darkening of the stones but still lots of sparkle. 2 3/8" x almost 3/4" at widest point at the middle. Description: Valfran, Brody and Balardi Sterling Retro Brooch - Done in a "pinwheel" design, this piece has mellowed to the point where I am not sure whether this is yellow or rose gold wash - it is almost an in-between color. Center is made like half of a rhinestone ball. Stones are glass smokey topaz colored rhinestones that are in very good condition foil-wise considering the open back setting. This is a very rare brand about which I have not been able to find any information. Item: SP7-198 Price: $55.00 US Sorry, SOLD! |

Description: S in a Star Huge Brooch in Blue-Lavender Stones and Glass Pearls - I have had this wonderful piece before in a different color combination. The glass oval stones here are a lavender-blue that I have not seen in vintage pieces before (the other piece also used stones in a color that I have not ever seen, either.) I don't believe these to be faux alexandrite because while different lighting makes them look different, it is not the dramatic change one associates with the faux alexandrite. The original pearls in this piece were "holed" pearls, which I have replaced with "no-hole" pearls because the holed ones were pretty obvious and may, themselves, have not been original. A few clears were replaced before I got this piece, but most appear to be original. I have stabilized the clasp with a little cold solder. Price reflects these repairs. A whopping 4" x 2 1/2". Description: Huge S in a Star Pair of Gilt Clear Rhinestone Dress Clips - S in a star was the mark of the Fred Grey Company; in addition, these also say "made in USA". Gilt clips are much less common than silvertone, and even less common are ones this size in a pair - each measure 2" x 1 5/8". One stone has dulled considerably. The clip backs are the same as we have found on all the S in a star pieces we have had with one interesting detail. The clips are riveted on and have a place for three rivets in the finding, but only one in the casting. We have added a little cold solder to keep these from being wobbly.
