Description: Castlecliff Clear Rhinestone Necklace with Unfoiled Pear Drops - Beautiful and unusual piece for this rarely found company. This is very flattering, done to look somewhat like a lariat style, with one side slightly shorter than the other (en negligee). Double rows of two baguettes alternate with three round rhinestones and culminate with two large unfoiled glass pears. Rhinestone set push in hidden clasp and safety chain, both marks of an originally expensive piece. Excellent condition.

Item: SN1-1050

Price: $149.50 US

•••

Description: Boucher Clear Rhinestone Bracelet - Typically beautiful design, this uses a center motif of baguettes, rhinestone set circles, and attaching links of pave and baguettes that continue on to a double line of baguettes that end in a rhinestone set clasp and paved terminals. Not quite 7 1/4", slightly domed center is 1/2", side pieces are 1/4". Rhodium plate, marked Boucher (uneven strike) and what looks like 5021 (most Boucher pieces are marked with a 4 digit design number.) Other than some yellowing of some of the baguettes this is in excellent condition.

Description: Astra Intense Aqua and Clear Rhinestone Necklace - Astra is not a common signature, but apparently it was a mark used by the Joseph Wiesner company; all the Wiesner jewelry that I have had has been this same color combination. This pretty design uses two rows of deep aqua pears, along with clear rhinestone chain. Better quality rhinestone set clasp. All stones with the exception of the clasp are prong set. Excellent condition, 15" wearable length x 1 1/2" for the bib section.

Item: SN4-988

Price: $59.50 US

Description: Edlee Demi Parure in Blue/Aqua/Green - Highly sought after and rarely found, Edlee, when found, often uses nautilus-type stones, which are not only a beautiful shape but also reflect more than one color, in this case, light to medium blue and light to medium green, depending on the angle. These pieces are accented with sapphire blue, aqua, aurora borealis and colored aurora borealis stones. Earrings are clip, 1 1/2" x 3/4"; bracelet is slightly domed, 7" x 1 1/2",with foldover clasp; necklace is adjustable to 15", 2" at center front, and chain ends with a larger aqua stone. All pieces marked Edlee with copyright symbol, other than a little dimpling of the metal at the contact point on the earrings this set is in super condition. An Edlee collectors dream.

Item: SS1-1000

Description: Marvella Madiera Topaz and Argented Black Diamond Crystal Bead Demi Parure - Amber colored crystal beads alternate with black diamond (grey) beads that are coated on 1/2 the bead with a silver metallic coating; all pieces use copper colored seed beads as spacers. Five strand necklace is much less common than the three strand you normally see. Necklace has adjustable hook and tail closure, with shortest strand maximum 16 3/4", longest strand is 20"+. Bracelet is about 7" x 1" with foldover clasp; earrings are fluff ball style, about 1" in diameter. All pieces marked Marvella. I will also include an extra pair of matching earrings that are not fully intact, in case you would ever need extra beads to make a repair. Excellent condition.

Description: Bob Mackie Scarf Clip/Brooch - Done in a combination of red and purple guilloche enamel on goldtone, and accented with clear rhinestones in the center of the flowers, this basket motif brooch/scarf clip combination will look lovely all year round. About 2 3/8" x 2 3/8", in excellent, almost unworn condition, this comes in it's original box, which is actually in very good condition except for being worn on the edges. This is about 20 years old, and was a QVC piece. Mr. Mackie is an award winning clothing designer best known for his work for Carol Burnett on her television show, whose design talents have been also used on items as diverse as collectible Barbie dolls, perfume, and items for the home.

Item: SP2-931

•••

Description: Wendy Gell Fuchsia/Sapphire RS Clamper Bracelet - This has a subtle beach theme, with what looks like seashells at the front opening of the clamper and driftwood at the back. Goldtone, accented with fuchsia and bright sapphire blue rhinestones and smaller flatback clear stones in rows around the swirls. About 3/8" wide with inner dimensions of 2 1/4" x 1 7/8", this should fit an average size wrist. Hinged back, opens easily and fits nicely. Comes in original box with original romance card, everything in excellent shape, bracelet appears to never have been worn. QVC production from about 20 years ago. Romance card says the item was handmade.

Item: SB3-930

Description: American Queen Pitman and Keeler Sweetheart Expansion Bracelet - This piece came with the bottom half of it's original box and is included in the price. The heart shaped front looks like a locket but does not open (apparently some of this company's bracelets had locket fronts). Incised floral and heart motif uses "pink gold" colored floral heads, and apparently the heart was to be engraved with initials, though this one was not, but probably still could be if you wished it. Excellent condition, this looks like it was hardly if ever worn, with a few tiny scratches on the engravable heart probably from storage. I have seen online prices for this item up to $100+, I have priced this at about what you would pay on Ebay.

Description: Boucher Clear Rhinestone Loop Necklace - Sorry my picture looks over exposed, this was actually taken without flash and the stones are sparkly enough that it still didn't photograph well. Five teardrop shaped loops are set with a line of tapering baguettes with lines of clear round rhinestones, with horseshoe shaped loops on the ends set with all clear rounds. The chain is done with prong set baguettes, ending in a rhinestone set foldover clasp. Set in rhodium plate, this is about 15 1/2" (choker length) and 3/4" at the widest points. Excellent condition with only one clear round showing a slight yellowing. Seen on other highend sites for considerably more money.

Description: Judith McCann Baroque Glass Pearl and Rhinestone Necklace - Judith McCann was a jewelry designer who apparently designed "wingback" finding earrings and a necklace clasp with a hidden hook called a "shuvon" clasp. This is a variation of this clasp; instead of having two identical ends, this has one end that finishes with a clear rhinestone setting, while the other end finishes with a larger baroque pearl. The rhinestone setting is silvertone, with a larger clear in the center surrounded by smaller clears. The place where the necklace attaches is in between the wheels of a rondelle - there doesn't seem to be any other place where the hook would be small enough to pass, so it wouldn't be possible to make this a "y" necklace without adding separators and restringing. Excellent condition, this looks enough like a Haskell piece to make you take a second and third look! The largest baroque pearl is about 14.5mm in diameter, with the chain pearls being about 9mm. A unique piece from a difficult to find name.

Description: Hedy (Hedison) Heart Shaped Cut-Out Pave Earrings - It took me awhile to figure out this mark but I finally did! Marked H in a heart shape, with edy in script and a copyright symbol in such small lettering that it is almost indiscernable. Screw-clip mechanisms in shiny rhodium plate, the earrings are silvertone and pave set with clear rhinestones, with a branch and leaf motif running thru the center. Excellent condition, the screw clip mechanisms are marked with Pat. no. 3,176,475 (I think.) About 1/2" x 1/2"and the heart is "puffy". According to Researching Costume Jewelry this mark is from 1959, and heart jewelry as popularized by Arlene Francis was from Hedison. Small clip earrings are difficult to find, don't pass these up.

Description: 11 W 30 St. Inc. Turtle Pin with Artglass Body - If online sources are to be believed, this company was founded by the owner of Dodds (Doddz) jewelry and has a relationship to Jewel Creations, a company that provided castings and stones so that you could choose a style and make it up in whatever stone color you wanted. Whether this signature was actually a Jewel Creation signature is unclear, but apparently it was the earliest version of pieces using this or similar signatures. Whatever is the case, the art glas cabochon used in the body of this piece would be expensive if you could find it, and is very pretty! The turtle is goldtone, with green rhinestone eyes, about 1 7/8" x 1 1/4". Excellent condition, great for those who collect difficult to find names or for the turtle collector.

Description: Austria Vitrail Light Rivoli Button Clip Earrings - The word vitrail appears to be French for stained glass; in the context of rhinestone colors, vitrail light is a beautiful combination of lavender and aqua. While I did not get a great picture of these, the stones are rivoli cut (pointed top) in a multi prong setting, and as with almost every piece marked Austria, the stones are exceptional. Multi prong set in goldtone, clip findings; marked on the bottom of the earring (I almost missed the mark). About 11/16" in diameter, goldtone setting. Plating on earring backs and findings is quite worn (these must have been someone's favorite earrings!) but from the front these are in great shape.

Item: SE7-849

Price: $17.50 US

•••

Description: Madeleine LCTopaz Earrings - Another rarely found name, the Madeleine company seems to have been NYC-based, and perhaps was manufactured in part by DeLizza & Elster. Both earrings are signed, and the design is made up to light Colorado and Colorado topaz rhinestones, all prong set, using a large center stone, and smaller navettes and rounds. Excellent condition, about 15/16" in diameter.

Item: SE7-851

Price: $32.50 US

•••

Description: DeMario Smoky Topaz and Goldtone Earrings - While not in the Haskellesque style that DeMario was noted for, these elegant earclips are well-made and I'm sure match a necklace/bracelet/brooch somewhere. The large pendaloque pear stone is unfoiled, and sits in a fancy cast goldtone "cup", kind of like it is emerging from a clamshell. Clip findings are of the type used by D&E, but I have no reason to believe that they were manufactured by them, other than the fact that they are well-constructed. About 7/8" x 1/2". Excellent condition.

Item: SE7-848

Price: $29.50 US

•••

Description: B. David Aurora Borealis/Glass Pearl Earrings - Done in clear aurora borealis rhinestones in pears, marquise, and rounds, and accented with small white glass pearls. Silvertone setting, usual triangular earclip used by this company, and signed on the mechandism. About 7/8" x 5/8", great condition, and much more sparkly in person.

Item: SE7-847

Price: $20.00 US

•••

Description: Barclay Multi-Blues Necklace - This lovely necklace appears to be done in faux alexandrite (color change - lt. blue to lavender) rhinestones and aqua rhinestones. The design uses three circular, slightly dome shaped pieces, connected by a kind of "bow-tie" link. The pears, marquises and larger rounds on the circular pieces are prong set, while the smaller rounds and rounds on the bow-tie links are paste set. Square cobra chain finishes off the back, with the foldover clasp being marked Barclay. Other than minor plating wear at contact points, I find no problems with this piece.

Description: Eugene Blue Bead/Rhinestone Earrings - Beautiful, labor intensive earrings from a vintage company who, in my opinion, equals the best Miriam Haskell pieces. Beaded florettes, prong set rhinestones, and single beads are wired into a double filigree setting. Clip mechanisms, earrings are 1 1/2" x 1" at the widest points. Excellent condition, no flaws that I can see here.

Item: SE6-857

Price: $145.00 US

Description: Eugene Earrings in Aqua/Metallic Gold-Copper Beads/RS - This is a gorgeous color combination and one certainly not unknown in contemporary clothing. Antiqued silvertone setting features a large aqua glass pearl, surrounded by aqua and smoke topaz pear rhinestones, arumed bicone beads, and fleurettes of coppery seed beads surrounding aqua and smoked topaz rhinestones. A few white lined clear seed beads and small aqua barrel beads have been thrown in for good measure! All rhinestones are prong set, with everything else handwired to a double filigree setting. 1 1/4" x 7/8". Excellent condition, with plating wear to the back of the clip mechanisms and at wear points, but nothing that would be seen when worn. Masterpieces.

Description: Mosell Chandelier Earrings - Frederick Mosell made jewelry starting in 1941 and went until?? one source said 1980, but I'm not certain. These goldtone earrings feature pink, green and orange cabochons, which are topped with pink, green, and topaz colored rhinestones, and a single green rhinestone in the middle of the top portion. Clip mechanisms, 2 3/8" x 1 1/8" at widest points. Mosell is difficult to find, quite a collector's coup, and these are very wearable. One pink cabochon is slightly deeper pink than the other so it may be a replacement, but that seems unlikely because these stones would be absolutely impossible to find. Otherwise excellent condition.

Item: SE6-852

Price: $150.00 US

Description: Eugene Blue/Green/Purple Bead/RS Earrings - Another lovely color combination that has stood the test of time, these use emerald and green tourmaline colored rhinestones, light blue, peacock blue, green, and purple aurora borealis crystal beads, all set in silvertone, with the rhinestones all prong set. Everything wire to a double filigree setting. Earrings are clip, about 1 1/4" x 3/4". Kind of a crescent moon or paisley shaped design. Excellent condition.

Description: Alice Caviness Chalk White and Green Bead Necklace - Alice Caviness, like many other well known lines, produced pieces that ran the gamut from ho-hum and maybe even hideous to some of the most beautiful pieces pieces around, and this necklace certainly fits the upper end of the spectrum. Rhinestone ball beads in both round and pear shapes are done in opaque white rhinestones in a light green enameled setting. Mint green opaque aurora borealis bicone beads and "puzzle" beads made up of a filigree/wheel combination, are separated by rhinestone rondelles set with faux jade rhinestones. All of these beads are extremely difficult if not impossible to find, both on the vintage and contemporary market. This strand measures approximately 24" and finishes with a fancy push in clasp. I have restrung this for your security. Awesome 1960's piece.

Item: SN6-842

Description: Barclay Topaz Rhinestone Necklace - Very pretty necklace done in three central sections, then finished with a smaller link design that leads to squared cobra chain. The central sections use topaz colored pears, rounds, rectangles and navettes, with the side links having a single round on each side. Goldtone setting, adjustable hook and chain closure with "weight" and hangtag. The necklace extends to 16" maximum, about 1" at center point. Very good-excellent condition, with a little waviness/wear on the cobra chain (the waviness is not noticeable when worn.)

Item: SN6-844

Price: $49.50 US

Description: Leru Chandelier Style Bead/RS Earrings - What little I could find online for this company indicates that it was open in the mid 1950's and probably into the 1960's, and was primarily known for "summer" jewelry, however these use traditional fall colors and are with two larger topaz colored rhinestones surrounded by rhinestone headpin attached beads at the top, surmounting 5 barrel shaped beads in orange, from which dangle taupe, green and orange beads that graduate towards the center. Top portion is backed with a single filigree. Goldtone, clip findings, 1 7/8" x 1 1/8". Made to look in the Haskell/Eugene/DeMario style, these are in excellent condition, with just a bit of plating damage on one of the filigree endcaps.

Description: Halbe Rhinestone & Enamel Floral Brooch - Halbe is a rarely found mark, and there seems to be little information about the company, other than they were in business in the 1950's and into the early 1960's, and based in NYC. If this piece is any indication, the jewelry was very nice! This three dimensional piece uses black enameling and clear rhinestone pave. This measures about 1 3/4"- 1 7/8" in diameter, depending on where you measure, and is 1/2" deep. Silvertone setting. Very elegant piece with a fine jewelry feel. Some of the clears have greyed with age, and the back side shows wear, but all in all this is a great piece worthy of any comprehensive colletion.

Description: Nolan Miller Fruit Salad Basket Brooch - One of the more popular pieces on the NM secondary market, this piece uses something not usually found in contemporary pieces - fruit salad stones in red, emerald green and dark sapphire blue, with the blue stones looking almost purple in certain lights. All surrounded by clear pave, glass pearls and red guilloche enameling, this lovely goldtone basket measures almost 3" x 2". Excellent if not pristine condition.

Description: FN (FM?) Dogcollar Necklace - This looks extremely similar to some of the KJL necklaces we have had in both quality, design, and construction. The mark is very hard to read, looks like FN or FM and is followed by what could be a number (87?) and a copyright symbol but it is hard to say for certain. This 9 strand glass pearl collar uses 3.5mm light cream pearls with rhinestone set terminals and stations and a center faux onyx cabochon accented with clear rhinestone set swirls. Adjustable from about 12 1/2" to 16", this could be extended if necessary. Center is about 1 7/8" wide. Excellent condition, and priced much less than a comparable KJL piece.

Item: SN6-806

Description: Les Bernard Pave Set Doorknocker Earrings - This must have been a popular design for Les Bernard because I have had the top portion pave set with black rhinestones (without the doorknocker part). These are goldtone and set with all clear rhinestones. The clears are not as "white" as they originally were but still have lots of sparkle, however they are price accordingly. 1 1/2" x 1" and very three dimensional. The doorknocker part swings freely.

Item: SE7-798

Description: Accessocraft NYC Art Glass Brooch - I'm not sure whether this would be considered Murano glass, or what, but art glass oval cabochons in shades of navy, red, white, olive green and aqua surrounda goldtone center crest with a crown motif. Goldtone setting, 1 3/4" in diameter, excellent condition. From what I have been able to find online, this "heraldic" type of motif is not uncommon for this company, which was in business from 1930-1998, and whose plethora of designers included Anne Klein. Perfect for those with understated taste. We got a bargain, so do you.

Description: Marvella Glass Pearl & Rhinestone Bib Necklace - Of all the more recent companies that sell glass pearl necklaces, Marvella would probably be the best known. This gorgeous, showy piece features an 8mm glass pearl strand from which are suspended a slightly graduated fringe of glass pearls and unusual 4 row rhinestone rondelles. Adjustable to 16" with rhinestone set hook. Excellent condition - this came missing final pearl on tail, which I was able to match quite well, headpin is new so patina is different, but otherwise almost original condition.

Description: Celebrity NY 6 Strand Glass Pearl and Chain Necklace - For those who prefer a more "airy" look, this versatile piece would not only work for a member of the bridal party but as a piece to wear for work or out for the evening. Description: Nolan Miller Faux Ivory and Rhinestone Floral Brooch and Earring Set - Nolan Miller jewelry has been produced for a number of years so I cannot say for certain how old this set is, but the design and quality of these pieces was so nice that I felt they fit into the vintage category. Thermoplastic floral heads in creamy ivory are centered with a fleurette of clear rhinestones set in silverton and accented with pave set open leaves. Brooch is 2 1/2" x 2" and matching clip earrings are about 7/8" in diameter. As far as I can see these are in perfect condition. Nolan Miller jewelry is fairly expensive and I would guess that we have the set priced well below half of what it originally retailed for. Especially stunning against dark colors.

Description: AMCo Gold-filled Hearts and Flowers Pin Pendant - Done in aqua marquises and rounds and accented with a glass pearl and clear rhinestones, this charming sentimental piece can be worn as a brooch or as a pendant on a chain. Marked 1/20/12K GF and AMCO. 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". Very good condition with slight darkening of clears commensurate with age. Probably WWII era. Description: CRCo Goldfilled Pin Pendant Necklace and Earring Set - If you like yellow and you like "cat's eye" type stones, then this is a great set! Pin pendant is hung on a reptilian type chain with a thumbless spring ring clasp, chain is unmarked. Pin pendant is marked 1/20 12K and CR Co, with the R larger than the C and the o of Co inside the C. Pendant has six prong set small clears in the center over a metal star, which tops two layers of yellow oval stones. Earrings are screwbacks with a single yellow bezel set stone topped with 5 prong set clears. Earrings are marked 1/20 12K GF on the edges of the earscrews. Neck chain is about 15", pin pendant is 1 1/2" in diameter and earrings are 1/2" x 5/8". The only condition issue I can see here is that the clears have greyed to the point that they almost look like black diamond rhinestones, but I don't find this to be offensive at all.

Description: Celebrity Bracelet with "Moroccan" Cabochons - Celebrity was apparently a party plan line of jewelry, and this particular design series must have been manufactured by DeLizza & Elster; D&E used similar "Moroccan" themed stones in their jewelry, notice the 5 link construction and foldover clasp with safety chain. Excellent condition, this measures wearable length of 7 3/4", and is about 7/8" wide. I have seen a matching necklace online, and there may be earrings as well. Description: Deja Fur Clip - Actually it is difficult to tell if this says "Deja" or "Reja" as the signature stamp is a little uneven and the bottom of the first letter is not there. However, it appears to be Deja. A single faux glass turquoise cabochons is surrounded by clear rhinestones in this floral design. The flower petals are enameled in cream in the distinctive enameling fashion that Deja used; ends of leaves are accented with tiny clears, as are the backs of the aqua enameled leaves. Except for replacing two tiny clears on the floral petals and some plating wear on the clip finding, this is in excellent original condition. 2 1/8" x 1 1/2".

Description: Engel Brothers Deco Style Bracelet - Though this signature is relatively unfamiliar, their work is of excellent quality. This was a classic design for this company and apparently came not only in all clear as shown here but in colored versions as well. Done with 12 hinged links, this uses an older style push-in clasp. Top side is in excellent shape and appears to be all original; back side plating is pitted, though - this must have been a favorite of the original owner! This does not affect the appearance when worn. Sides have the embossed edges that are found in 1920's pieces, but curiously this has a later 1930's-40's feel. 7" x 3/8", safety chain is also an older style and has a spring ring on both ends! This enables it to be opened and closed easily by the wearer. Engel Brothers also had necklaces that opened on both sides, this appears to be kind of their "trademark". Lovely by itself or as part of a stylish grouping of multiple bracelets.

Description: KJL White Lucite? Rose Pin and Earrings Set - A well-known design for this company, this uses an opaque white plastic for the rose blossom with a paved center, border on the black enamel leaves, and on the stem on the brooch. The brooch's rose is slightly more white in some lights than the earrings, and the pieces are marked slightly differently - the earrings are marked with a copyright symbol and KJL on both the clip mechanism and the back of the earring; the brooch is also marked with the copyright symbol and KJL but the goldtone setting underneath the pinstem actually says Korea! I am not certain of the significance of this. Brooch is 2 1/2" x 1 1/2"; earrings are about 1" in diameter.

This piece came to us missing the "female" end of the clasp, which we have replaced; I think you will have trouble finding the repair. 16", stones and plating are in excellent condition. Description: Dodds (Doddz) Large Brooch and Ear Set in Fall Colors - This is Dodds with the backward "s" that is sometimes thought to be a "z". Very unusual in that most Dodds pieces are Christmas, and this is much larger than average, measuring almost 3 3/4" x 1 1/2". You will find this to be absolutely beautiful in person, very sparkly and the goldtone finish (which looks like the type Hollycraft used and indeed may have been manufactured by them) is much more yellow in person than appears on my monitor. Jonquil, topaz and hyacinth 6mm rhinestone are all original, and everything is excellent condition. Only one earring is marked, (see picture) which means if the earrings weren't with this I would not have had any idea it was Dodds. Clip earrings are 1 1/8" x 3/4".

Description: Gene Verri (Verrecchia) Rose Goldwash Brooch - Though this is not a vintage piece I am putting it here because of the style. Made by Gene Verrecchia, head designer for Coro for many years and now owner of his own company, Gemcraft, this brooch was sold to members of VFCJ (Vintage Fashion and Costume Jewelry) as a special bonus a few years ago. The design is dominated by three large unfoiled green glass pear stones and accented with red aurora borealis rhinestones. 2 3/4" x 2 1/2" and very 3-D with substantial weight. Limited edition. Two other styles available - please inquire.

Description: Alice Caviness Jonquil and Topaz Rhinestone Earrings - Very sparkly in person! Stones are all prong set in goldtone, dome shaped. 1 1/8" in diameter. Jonquil (light yellow) marquises surround a center clear stone; borders are done in a double row of topaz rounds and marquises Caviness jewelry is difficult to find. Excellent quality and condition.

Description: Lucy Isaacs NYC Fruit and Flower Necklace - Done in sterling silver, this is a difficult to find and expensive line of jewelry. Brand new this piece retails for around $350.00. This is in excellent condition - I could find nothing broken or missing and the colors are gorgeous. Wear this with a sheath and a pair of heels and the world will beat a path to your door. Chain has darkened as will any sterling (clasp is marked 925 on the section that moves), about 26" in length.

Description: Eugene Wood, Rhinestone and Glass Leaves Necklace Set - Like Haskell and DeMario, Eugene Schultz made beautiful, hand-made and hand-wired jewelry during the short approximately 10 year span that he was in business. These must have been 1940's pieces when the use of such diverse materials would have been popular. At least 5 different sizes of wooden beads are used in the triple strand necklace, which juxtaposes the refinement of rhinestone rondelles and the femininity of the mint colored glass leaves with the wood. Push in clasp with wood, signed Eugene. Necklace measures 15 3/4". Handwired clip earrings are 1" x 1 3/8". I can find no flaw in these pieces. A tremendous vintage set.

Description: Duane Snowflake Necklace and Earrings - Whether this was originally intended to be a snowflake is purely conjecture on my part, but this intricate overlapping design would look smashing for Christmas or any time of year.  Emerald green glass baguette and round rhinestones are interspersed with clear rhinestone pears, rounds and baguettes.  Set in silvertone.  Screwback earrings measure 1 1/2" long; adjustable necklace will fit up to a 15" neck.  Small solder repair on one earring.  All pieces marked Duane.

Description: Dewees Full Parure with Extra Earrings - A rare and highly regarded name by vintage collectors "in the know", the owner of Dewees was originally a designer for Trifari, then quit and started his own company. Dewees was only in business for a relatively short time, and when the company closed the owner went back to work for Trifari. All but the bracelet are made like fine jewelry with both gold and silvertone on the same piece. Pendant has goldtone ribbed oval center with a single glass pearl surrounded by clear pave set in silvertone at N-S-E-W points; pendant is 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" including bail . Bail is silvertone; chain may not be original but is marked goldfilled both on the clasp and on hanging metal tag and is substantial and long (26"+). Smaller clip earrings are same design but have the oval on it's side with only two stations, one set with a center pearl, the other is all rhinestones (and this looks original), 1" x 7/8". Longer dangle earrings are an "eveningwear" version of the smaller clips, just adding on a rhinestone and pearl dangle portion, 1 1/2" x 7/8" (notice clip finding is the one often found on Bogoff). Brooch is small, 1 3/8" x 1", and does not use any pearls. Bracelet is done in all goldtone, with no pearls and only baguette rhinestones on the terminals of each of the 6 links (24 total), foldover clasp, 8" x 1". Notice that this is longer than the average for the time; the bracelet, dangle earrings and brooch belonged to the wife of the owner of Dewees and were presumably custom made for her (information about Dewees comes from the son of the owner, who was kind enough to share the information.) I am including box the necklace and small earrings were found in, marked Jarecki's Jewelers and Silversmiths, Inc., Erie, PA. This is a once in a lifetime find, and you will be pleased with the quality of the pieces.

Description: Thelma Deutsch Starfish Pin and Earring Set - While not all of Thelma's pieces were japanned, her use of this black finish was certainly one of her "trademarks". These pieces are set with light and dark sapphire, Montana and blue aurora borealis rhinestones. The earrings are clip, 1 1/8" in diameter. The brooch is about 2 1/2" in diameter. Excellent original condition. TD sets are difficult to find.

Description: Incredible Purple Edlee Bracelet and Brooch Set - I am not certain if this brand is EDLEE or ED LEE but the signature is one word. A rarely found company particularly known for using this "nautilus" type of stone, this is a sumptuous color, using purple, purple aurora borealis, lavender and the nautilus glass pieces in shades of purple with a little blue thrown in surrounding clear aurora borealis stones. All stones are pronge set, goldtone plating is in excellent condition - this is about as good as it gets. Bracelet has foldover clasp, 6 3/4" x about 1 1/2" at widest point. Brooch is 2" x 1 7/8". Fantastic set.

Description: Jeanne Pin - Another rare name. The center 23mm stone is in dark brown with radiating facets on the underside, and a large table. Asymmetrical six point stars set with black stones surround the center, giving this a kind of "celestial" feeling. This color combination is very complimentary to contemporary fashions. Approximately 2.25" in diameter, brass setting. Extremely small chip at edge of center stone, only noticeable on close scrutiny, but price reflects.

Description: Deauville Two Strand Arumed Red Crystal Necklace - While this is an item also appropriate for the crystal section, I have chosen to put it here because, unlike 99% of vintage crystal items, this is signed "Deauville" on both of the connector ends at the back of this adjustable hook necklace. This is the only time I have seen arumed (metallic gold coated on half of the bead) RED crystal; it is very doubtful that you could find this bead at any bead market, anywhere. Graduated arumed red round beads are separated by arumed bicones. Adjustable to 16".

Description: Marvella 5-Strand Crystal Bead Necklace in Argent and Madiera Topaz - A truly magnificent 1960's piece. 5 nested strands of black diamond with a 1/2 silver metallic and warm brown with a 1/2 metallic copper coat glass crystal make a perfect drape around your throat. Beads are separated by copper colored faceted seed beads. Goldtone terminals both say Marvella in a curved plaque; hook is also marked Marvella and has a single rhinestone. Adjustable tail, beads are slightly graduated. Should fit up to a 16" neck, crystal tail could be added to if needed for fit. Originally an expensive piece. Not counting labor time and assuming you could find these beads, you could not make this piece yourself for this price. .

This set predates the zip code! Lovely all prong-set princess style necklace and earclips-black marquises and clear rounds. All pieces signed b. david. Necklace has adjustable hook and will accommodate up to an 18" neck. Ear clips are approximately 1.25" x .75". Light pink velvet lines the purple and silver foil presentation box with purple velvet trim. Description: Apex Art Buckles - Though technically not jewelry, this large buckle set could be sewn onto clothing or onto an existing belt. (Each side has an upper and lower loop for sewing.)  Both pieces are signed Apex Art and use a mix of emerald green rhinestones and clear rhinestones (one clear has been replaced).  Great design; each half is just shy of 2" in diameter.

Description: Apex Art Brooch - This is probably a pre-1920's piece, as it uses a c-clasp closure. All stones are original, some of the clears have yellowed and don't have much flash but after 90 years, who does?!! Setting is brass, which has mellowed into a dark brown with a little copper-y cast. Each side measures 2" and is 2 5/8" at the widest points. Pinback is set so that it is to be worn at the angle shown (diamond shape.) A bargain price for a rarely seen brand. Marked Apex Art twice on the back.

Description: M&S Gold Filled Retro Pin-Pendant and Earring Set - This lovely set, with an intriguing "stepped" design, came to me as a pin-pendant (without a chain) and earrings, so I have added a round 1940's snake chain, which can easily be removed with a pair of pliers, for those who would like to use this as a pendant necklace. The colored stones are purple unfoiled emerald cut glass stones and clear rhinestones, with all stones prong set. The earrings are screwback and measure 1 1/8" x 1/2"; the pendant is 3" x 1 1/2" at the widest points, but looks very delicate with its airy design. The added chains make about a 20" necklace.

Description: EB (Engle Brothers) Deco Style Bracelet with Aqua and Clear Rhinestones - Though it is generally felt that Engle Brothers made their pieces during the 1940's, many were certainly done in a deco style, and seem to be of consistently excellent quality. This features aqua colored marquises set in the middle of alternating pave set links. 7 1/8" x 1/2", foldover baguette set clasp. All stones are original and the only flaw seems to be that the safety chain has been broken off one end. This would make an excellent marriage with the clear rhinestone and aqua marquise necklace listed in the unsigned section of our site.

Description: Les Bernard Black Pave Demi-Hoops - Goldtone clip earrings done in black rhinestones rather than the more usual clear, making a more subtle statement for daytime elegance. Top quality clip findings, all original excellent condition. Les Bernard is not a particularly common signature, but apparently many of this company's pieces used pave settings. Description: Lanvin Paris Double Chain Necklace - Probably known in the US more for its perfumes, Lanvin is a design house that originated with clothing and like many other design houses eventually branched into accessories, perfumes and other items. This piece has a faux jade? central piece that is accented with a silvertone piece set with chalk white ballotini and a single peridot green rhinestone. Nice quality double chains complete the piece.
