Description: Trifari Skinny Navette Necklace and Bracelet Set with All Clear Rhinestones - This 1960's Philippe design is referred to on one well-known site as a "leaves and berries" pattern - whether this was the designer's original concept or not is certainly anyone's opinion, but it is interesting to note that, like most of Trifari's designs, there was a clear version and more than one colored version. I have seen various pieces of this design in autumn colors (brown-orange-topaz) and also in a fuchsia-multi green combination. Here we have the classic all clear version. Beside the long, thin marquises there are also regular marquises, rounds and tiny baguettes. One or two of the skinny marquises have nicked points, and most of the marquises have yellowed slightly. I don't feel this detracts but if you want "brand new" you will either want to consider some stone replacement or skip this set entirely. Plating and every other aspect of this set is in excellent condition. Bracelet is slightly over 7", necklace is adjustable to 16"+. Both pieces about 3/8" wide.

Description: Weiss Tan Givre and Hyacinth Aurora Borealis Rhinestones - These must go with a truly lovely necklace, brooch and earrings. Description: Little Nemo Red and Clear Earrings - For collectors of L/N pieces, this is pretty unusual - a pair of earrings actually marked "Nemo". (Apparently most of the time the pieces were unmarked but carded with the Little Nemo name.) Pentagonal shaped earrings have a raised middle that looks kind of like a snowflake, paste set with clear rhinestones; lower layer is red square stones that alternate with clear rounds. Screwback findings, silvertone, 5/8" in diameter and about 1/4" deep. Good condition with one finding reattached. Originally not expensive but quite a collector's coup.

Item: SE7-754

Price: $25.00 US

Description: Trifari Clear Baguette and Round Rhinestone Bracelet & Earring Set - Silver Trifanium setting; these graceful pieces have baguettes surrounded by pave set curves. Earrings are 1" x 3/4", very elegant, with typical Trifari clipback mechanisms of the late 1950's-1960's. Link bracelet is 7" x 1/2" with baguette set foldover clasp and original safety chain. Clasp is marked Copyright (spelled out) By Trifari (with crown over the T). Some baguettes have yellowed very slightly, otherwise excellent condition. Beautiful, sparkly pieces with many, many stones. From 1962, this line was called "Reverie" and these pieces originally sold for $30.00 ($20/bracelet and $10/earrings).

Description: Crown Trifari Sapphire Blue/Clear Rhinestone Earrings - I have had these beautiful earrings for several years, hoping to find the matching pieces. Huge deep blue oval stones are heavy prong set and surrouned by floral and foliate shapes set with clear rhinestones and florals centered with sapphire blue rhinestones. Smaller pieces are silvertone, larger segements are goldtone, ala fine jewelry. Small flourishes at top of earrings are enameled in very dark blue. Clips are conventional 1950's-1960's Trifari but attachment to the main body of earring is the type only seen on higher end pieces. Other than a few dings in the enameled flourishes these are in very good/excellent condition. Trifari started using the rhinestone set florals in the 1930's, and as with many of their trademark looks repeated them over and over throughout the years. 1 1/8" x 3/4".

Description: Tortolani Goldtone Pendant - While I don't normally handle this kind of item, because Tortolani is difficult to find I decided to put it on the website. Very standard pendant design circa 1960; front side is excellent, back side is slightly worn at rubbing points but photo makes it look more worn than it is in person. This came to us without a chain; in fact, bale is large enough that it would accomodate almost inside of chain/omega/ribbon that you would care to thread it on. However I have included a long (28") chain in case you need one. Pendant is 1 1/2 in diameter and kind of domed.

Item: SN7-783

Price: $15.00 US

Description: Florenza Topaz/Green Earrings - Wonderful clip earrings in excellent condition, featuring Colorado topaz thin navettes and Madiera topaz rounds, faux jade cabochon marquises and art glass leaves in irridescent lime green. Antiqued goldtone setting. 1" x 7/8". I also have the matching brooch for these earrings but it is missing the center art glass stone and I have been unable to find a replacement.

Item: SE7-342

Price: $28.00 US (earrings only)

Description: Trifari Curved Clear Baguette and Round Rhinestone Link Necklace-A well known and sought after design, known as "Lightning", probably from the design table of Alfred Philippe. Ingeniously engineered link design alternates two rows of thin baguettes with rounds in such a way that you have a naturally curved piece. All stones present; heavy rhodium plate and quality hook marked Trifari; the tail is a replacement. About 14 1/2", adjustable. Could easily be made longer if needed.

Item: SN7-392

Price: $82.50 US

Description: Mandle Japanned Owl Brooch - Though known primarily for his mandolin pins, Robert Mandle obviously made other things. Here is a fun piece for those who collect owl pins, done with black rhinestone eyes, clear pear earrings and tail feathers, and the rest set with average sized rounds. About 2" x 1" and slightly domed. I replaced two missing rounds. Excellent condition.

Item: SP7-777

Price: $29.50 US

•••

Description: L/N 25 (Little Nemo) Stylized Floral with Green Cabs - Actually I am not certain what these would be considered because while these are cabochon shaped stones, they have a faceted pattern of small triangles that you can only really see when you rotate the piece; the facets are firepolished rather than sharp. Glass, faux jade look, with goldtone metal. At 3" x 1 3/4" this is among the largest of the L/N pieces. Excellent condition, with only slight plating wear to back.

Item: SP7-458

Price: $39.50 US

Description: 1928 Brand Necklace and Earring Set - Beautiful glass pearl three strand necklace with large center of an unfoiled glass aqua oval, surrounded by a row of clear rhinestones, then a row of oval pearl cabochons and swirls of clear rhinestones. strands have 7mm cream colored pearls with clear rhinestone rondelles and side stations of aqua ovals with three clear rhinestones on either end. Necklace has adjustable hook and tail, with 1928 hangtag. Adjusts to about 20 inches, center is 2" x 2 1/4". Earrings imitate the center of the center plaque. Pierced, 1" x 3/4". Probably worn once. The only thing that keeps this set from being mint condition is that the glue that holds the aqua glass in the earrings has yellowed. I think this could be removed and the glass reset but I will leave that to the new owners. This set originally retailed for around $150.00 - earring card still has original $35.00 price tag. This is probably about 20 years old.

Item: SS7-733

Price: $85.00/set US

Description: Unusual Coro Maltese Cross Pin Pendant - Done in light goldtone, red aurora borealis rhinestones, and small no-hole glass pearlized balls, this is a unique brooch pendant combination in that it uses a Coro earring finding for the pendant bail. Excellent original condition, 2 1/4" in either direction, and about 1/2" deep.

Item: SPP7-711

Price: $22.50 US

Description: Crown Trifari Dark Sapphire and Clear Rhinestone Brooch and Earring Set - Probably from the early to mid 1960's, this set features 2 1/2" dangling earrings and a meteor type design brooch. Both brooch and earrings use mostly clear baguettes and octagonal blue rhinestones, with a sprinkling of clear round accent stones. Silvertone Trifanium plating, all stones are original and everything is in excellent condition. Brooch is 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" at widest point. A wonderful set.

Item: SS7-672

Price: $165.00 US

Description: L/N (Little Nemo) Brooch in Pastels - Probably this company's best known and loved design, seen both with and without enameling on the florals (in this case, without). Rarely seen with pastel rhinestones. Potmetal with a pewtery finish. Domed oval shape, 2 1/8" x 1 7/8". I replaced one missing small stone, otherwise excellent original condition.

Item: SP7-341

Price: $29.50 US

•••

Description: L/N (Little Nemo) Brooch in Chalk White and Green - Here is the enameled version, but instead of rhinestones we have glass balls in opaque white. Potmetal with a pewtery finish. Domed oval shape, 2 1/8" x 1 7/8". Instead of smaller rhinestones at four points on the inner circle, there were apparently enameled balls - the balls are still there, the enamel is just pretty much gone. Enamel on florals is in good shape except worn off at the high points.

Item: SP7-363

Price: $22.50 US

Description: Trifari Philippe Floral Fur Clip - One of Trifari's most popular circa 1940's pieces were the fur clips with a floral theme. I am guessing these are stylized violets, but whatever they are they are lovely. Most of the piece uses the two-tone (or more) enameling for which Trifari (and Coro) were justly famous. The heart shaped leaves use two shades of olive green enameling, with the veins and the edges traced with a green-aqua and turned tips pave set with clear rhinestones. Stems also use brown enameling highlighted with the aqua green, tied with a pave set ribbon and single clears on the end. The left flower is done in various shades of purple with white highlights. Only the yellow flower is a solid color with no highlights. I originally thought the yellow was re-done but I have since seen one or two others done this same way. Older crown Trifari signature, silvertone plating, all stones appear original.

Item: SF7-677

Price: $165.00 US

•••

Description: Claudette Bracelet and Earring Set - Beautiful combination of smokey topaz rhinestones in rounds and navettes (in the bracelet) and navette, pears and rectangular shapes (in the earrings) with two sizes of Madeira aurora borealis rounds in the bracelet and three sizes in the earrings. Bracelet is 7 1/8" x 5/8"; earrings are 1 1/8" x 7/8". Pewtery type setting. Earrings are clip and marked Claudette in a u shape on the earring findings; bracelet is unmarked but the plating color and castings are exactly the same and are too unusual for it to be just a marriage. Claudette is quite rare.

Item: SS7-738

Price: $125.00 US

•••

Description: Valfran, Brody and Balardi Sterling Retro Brooch - Done in a "pinwheel" design, this piece has mellowed to the point where I am not sure whether this is yellow or rose gold wash - it is almost an in-between color. Center is made like half of a rhinestone ball. Stones are glass smokey topaz colored rhinestones that are in very good condition foil-wise considering the open back setting. This is a very rare brand about which I have not been able to find any information.

Item: SP7-198

Price: $55.00 US

•••

Description: Les Bernard Pave Set Doorknocker Earrings - This must have been a popular design for Les Bernard because I have had the top portion pave set with black rhinestones (without the doorknocker part). These are goldtone and set with all clear rhinestones. The clears are not as "white" as they originally were but still have lots of sparkle, however they are price accordingly. 1 1/2" x 1" and very three dimensional. The doorknocker part swings freely.

Item: SE7-798

Price: $14.50 US

•••

Description: Trifari Sterling Philippe Jelly Belly Sailboat Brooch - This is one of the few jelly belly pieces that Alfred Philippe designed for Trifari that did not use an animal/insect theme. Marked Des. Pat. No. 135174, this patent dates to March of 1943; also marked sterling and Trifari with a crown. Light gold wash, rigging is silvertone. Small flag and center of bow have tiny rhinestone pave, several of which are missing; I can replace if you would like. 2 1/2" x 1 1/2".

Item: SP7-674

Price: $495.00 US

•••

Description: Eisenberg Floral Wreath Brooch - Done in all clear rhinestones, this uses large dentelle cut rounds alternating with pear shaped rhinestones, with a paved crescent moon shape over one side of the rounds that is topped with pave set petals. Heavy rhodium plate, excellent vintage condition. Very feminine feel, somehow this almost reminds me of fireworks. About 2 1/4" in diameter including the petals. Very nice piece.
