Description: Ciner Cloverleaf ? Earrings - I am assuming these match pieces with a floral type pattern so I'm not sure my design description is quite accurate! These are actually quite delicate in appearance in person, measuring about 3/4" x 5/8" in person, emulating a fine jewelry look and as with all Ciner, very nicely done. Silvertone, clip, emerald green stones with small clears, all stones original. Clears have yellowed very slightly, commensurate with being approximately 50 years old. French clip mechanism marked Ciner. These were probably originally quite expensive.

Description: S in a Star Huge Brooch in Blue-Lavender Stones and Glass Pearls - I have had this wonderful piece before in a different color combination. The glass oval stones here are a lavender-blue that I have not seen in vintage pieces before (the other piece also used stones in a color that I have not ever seen, either.) I don't believe these to be faux alexandrite because while different lighting makes them look different, it is not the dramatic change one associates with the faux alexandrite. The original pearls in this piece were "holed" pearls, which I have replaced with "no-hole" pearls because the holed ones were pretty obvious and may, themselves, have not been original. A few clears were replaced before I got this piece, but most appear to be original. I have stabilized the clasp with a little cold solder. Price reflects these repairs. A whopping 4" x 2 1/2".

Description: Huge S in a Star Pair of Gilt Clear Rhinestone Dress Clips - S in a star was the mark of the Fred Grey Company; in addition, these also say "made in USA". Gilt clips are much less common than silvertone, and even less common are ones this size in a pair - each measure 2" x 1 5/8". One stone has dulled considerably. The clip backs are the same as we have found on all the S in a star pieces we have had with one interesting detail. The clips are riveted on and have a place for three rivets in the finding, but only one in the casting. We have added a little cold solder to keep these from being wobbly.

Description: Coro Brooch with Light Blue/White Translucent Melon Marquise Stones and Blue AB Rhinestones - Almost an upside down fan shape, this brooch has a foliate design done in silvertone. Marquise stones are light blue in the center with almost an opal-type feeling. Light blue aurora borealis rhinestones add sparkle. 2 3/4" x 1 3/4". Very nice condition.

Description: Miriam Haskell Green "Flawed Emerald" Bead Bracelet and Earring Set with Roses Montees Crescents - To die for bracelet and earring set. Bracelet uses emerald green beads separated by brass melon beads and tiny crimp beads, with small brass wheel endcaps. Triple strand culminates in an amazing dogtooth set 15mm cabochon with two crescent shaped filigrees with clear roses montees tapestry in three rows on one side. Earrings follow the same theme as the clasp with a single crescent shape on each. Bracelet has the oval cartouche; earrings are signed Miriam Haskell on the clip findings. Bracelet is about 7 1/4" x 1"; earrings are about 7/8" in diameter. I would date this set to the 1950's. From my personal collection.

Description: Corocraft Elegant Clear Rhinestone Necklace - This style epitomizes the post WII return to glamour of the late 1940's and early 1950's. This is done almost entirely in clear rhinestone baguettes, even on the chain portion and the fancy foldover clasp. The only exception are small rounds that border the front baguettes, and the "swoosh" in front, done in baguette strips that terminate with trapezoids, and is attached with a small screw - I'm not sure what the point was, but it appears that it could be removed if you so desired. Truly a work of design art worth studying. Excellent condition - chain baguettes have darkened but do not detract. Will fit up to a 15 1/2" neck.

Item: SN11-354

Price: $85.00 US

Description: Lisner Pansy Brooch with Arumed Rhinestones - Gold metallic stones were used for a short time by Weiss and apparently a few other companies, as here is a Lisner piece using them in much the same manner. Excellent condition, all original , goldtone plating, 2" in diameter. Very pretty and very wearable.

Item: SP11-483

Price: $24.50 US

Description: Hollycraft Clear Rhinestone Earrings - Actually I have seen very little clear rhinestone Hollycraft! These certainly exhibit all the design quality and craftsmanship that you find in any colored rhinestone piece. The clip earrings are 1" x 3/4" and are silvertone and quite dimensional. All stones appear to be original and only the marquises exhibit a very slight yellowing. Nice quality and excellent condition.

Item: SS11-221

Price: $25.00 US

Description: Coro Faux Moonstone Cabochon Brooch in Fuchsia with Clear Pave and Burgundy Enamel - I find these old Coro pieces from the 1930's-1940's to be utterly charming. Other than slight knicking at the top of one of the bow loops the enamel is in excellent shape. Someone "got here" before I did and had done some poor replacements of some rhinestones which I have corrected. 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" at widest point. Coro would have made a matching necklace, bracelet, earrings and duette for this piece.

Item: SP11-379

Price: $59.50 US

Description: BSK Shoebutton Earrings in Orange, Brown and Aurora Borealis - I have seen this particular style done by BSK in olive and peridot; here we have orange and brown mottled wound glass beads with topaz rhinestone centers and topaz aurora borealis accent stones. Goldtone, leaf motifs, clip mechanisms. About 1" in diameter.

Item: SE11-470

Price: $16.50 US

Description: Kramer of NY Jonquil and Topaz Rhinestone Bracelet - This features a rigid center with flexible sides for an excellent fit and look. Because of the rigid portion it was difficult to measure but should fit a 7"+ wrist. Absolutely a stunning sparkler in the tradition of the top of the line pieces this company made. Brass setting (underside is quite worn); a few marquises were replaced because of chipped tips but you will have great difficulty telling which ones. Gorgeous piece.

Item: SB11-452

Price: $82.50 US

Description: Sarah Coventry Clear Rhinestone Pin and Earring Set - A more elegant evening look for SC; I believe this pattern was called "Crystal Fern".  Heavy rhodium plate with paste set clear round rhinestones, all original, in a stylized leaf pattern.  Brooch measures 2 1/2" x 7/8" at widest point; clip earrings are about 1" x 3/4".

Item: SS11-136

Price: $17.50 US

Description: Wachenheimer Sterling Clear Rhinestone Art Deco Bracelet - A sought-after name for collectors, Wachenheimer produced not only under their own name but also the trade name "Diamonbar". Wachenheimer signed pieces are actually harder to find, and their signature is often difficult to read without the aid of a good magnifier. This delicately beautiful piece is a 1920's-30's transitional style piece that still shows the influence of the older look coupled with the geometric, streamlined ideals of deco styling. Central motif is flanked by paved circles which lead to typical single stone bead set links and finish with a stoneset foldover clasp with fancy terminals. Excellent condition.

Item: SB11-562

Price: $125.00 US

Description: Trifari Goldtone Earrings with "Flawed Ruby and Emerald" Cabochons - These earrings match a sought after snake brooch (and probably several other designs). Unfortunately I do not know the name of this series or exact time but would guess these to be mid 1960's. Excellent if not mint condition, I can find no flaw here. The "flawed" part of the cabochons is actually an industry term that means the stones have been infused with white swirls to make them look more "real". Raspberry red and light emerald green glass cabs, nice goldtone color. About 1" in diameter and about 1/4" deep. Marked Crown Trifari with copyright symbol.

Item: SE11-579

Price: $42.50 US

Description: Lisner Purple/Purple Aurora Borealis Earrings - Vibrant color - one of Lisner's most wanted combinations. Intense purple marquises highlighted with purple aurora borealis rounds, all set in goldtone. Clip mechanisms. 1 1/8" x 3/4". Excellent condition.

Item: SE11-439

Price: $17.50 US

Description: Trifari "Etoile" Brooch and Ear Set in Jonquil/AB - Very pretty set in jonquil (light yellow) accented with aurora borealis marquises and rounds. I have seen these art glass stones referred to as "dragon's eggs" but for accuracy let's just call them mottled ovals with an irridescent finish. Absolutely top quality gold Trifanium finish, these pieces are in excellent condition. Earrings are 1" in diameter and slightly domed; brooch is 2 1/2" x 2". Both pieces marked Crown Trifari with copyright symbol.

Item: SS11-580

Price: $125.00/set US

•••

Description: Bogoff Four Leaf Clover Necklace and Earring Set - Lovely lime green and clear rhinestone set in silvertone. Earrings have typical triangular clip findings and measure 3/4" in diameter; necklace uses a heavy "paperclip" type chain with springring clasp, about 16 1/4" including clasp. Excellent condition; clear rhinestone in center of earring is a replacement. While the chain is not the elaborte chain found on many Bogoff pieces, I have found after doing research that this is the original chain for this design. Seen on other sites at a much higher price.
