Description: Red, Blue and Clear Cockade Brooch - This looks very patriotic, though it may be more "French" looking than American. Circa 1930's potmetal piece uses red and dark blue enameling along the ribbons' edge and red enamel at the very center, surrounded by clear rhinestones and having additional clear rhinestones running down each section of ribbon. Enameling is in quite good shape, with some wear along the edges, and the rhinestones all appear to be original. 3" x 2 1/4"

Item: NP4-247

Price: $29.50 US

Description: Pink and Clear Rhinestone Floral Brooch - One of my favorite 1930's designs, I have had this in both enameled and non-enameled versions in different colors but never in pink. Unfoiled large pink ovals are accented with foiled smaller pink ovals and pink rounds, all prong set. Clear rhinestones on the leaves and the stems. Silvertone setting, excellent condition. 2 3/4" x 1 3/4"

Item: NP4-250

Price: $47.50 US

Description: Aqua and Clear Rhinestone Potmetal Floral - Beautiful design. Aqua marquise Czech stones make up the floral, with clear rhinestone stem, leaves and ribbons. 3" x 1". Silvertone, potmetal. Plating is worn on back and a couple of tiny clears are replacements. Very good condition.

Item: NP4-233

Price: $49.50 US

Description: Huge Plume Brooch with Multi/Clear Rhinestones - This "book" piece can be found in Cheri Simmonds book on costume jewelry. It has been done in many variations for the larger stones; here it is in multi colors, with most of the stones being rosecuts, and a few being flatbacks. (All clear version is for sale on page 9 of the unsigned section.) Colors include emerald green, sapphire blue, purple, light blue, topaz and aqua. The pave work is in excellent condition. An impressive 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" at the widest point.

Item: NP4-222

Price: $89.50 US

Description: Filigree Floral Brooch with Multi Color Stones - This two layered brooch uses unfoiled glass oval stones in multi jewel tones, prong set in goldtone filigree metal.  A little of the filigree appears silver, either from wear or perhaps not being gilded initially.  Floral motif; about 2" in diameter.

Item: NP4-0004

Price: $35.00 US

•••

Description: Beautiful Pink Faux Moonstone Floral with Clear Rhinestones and Black Enamel - Round pink cabochons sorm the flower heads with clear rhinestones making up the leaves and stems, edged with black enamel. 2 7/8" x 1 1/4" at the widest point. Silvertone, better quality clasp. Whether this is unsigned Trifari or simply a vintage company with a similar look will always remain unknown. As with almost any legitimate 1930's piece, this has slight yellowing on some of the clears, and one is a replacement with a clear of a similar age so it will be extremely difficult to find.

Item: NP4-234

Price: $49.50 US

•••

Description: Multi Jewelton Brooch - This is a substantial 3" x 1 5/8" rectangular brooch, done in purple, emerald green, red, and cobalt blue stones in oval and round shapes, surmounted by filigree florals centered with smaller fire-polished stones of the same colors that also border the piece. Excellent condition with all stones appearing to be original; only various degrees of foiling loss on the back of the stones and plating loss at contact points confirm the age of the piece.

Item: NP4-201

Price: $79.50 US

•••

Description: Sash Pin with Purple Stone - A piece approaching 100 years old, this has the usual c clasp with very heavy pinstem that extends slightly past the body of the brooch. Made in two layers, with the top layer centered with a bezel set unfoiled oval purple glass stone. Brass, 2 1/2" x 1 7/8". Very good condition with stone table showing scratching when tipped different directions in the light, center back faceting shows some flea bites from wear. Pinstem is a little wavy but not bad. If I look this good at 100 I'll be quite happy!

Item: NP4-235

Price: $29.50 US

•••

Description: Huge1930's Brooch with Large Green Oval Cabochons - These stones are definitely a dark emerald green in person and in excellent condition. Lots of clear rhinestones go around the edges in rows and were all there except for one that I have replaced. Silvertone potmetal, 3 3/4" x 2" and has quite substantial heft. Great on a blazer, jacket or coat, or even to dress up an evening bag.

Item: NP4-102

Price: $32.50 US

Description: Deco Style Potmetal and Rhinestone Necklace with Four Paved Circles - When one thinks of Deco style geometric shapes like rectangles and triangles come to mind - well, circles were also frequently used, as in this lovely piece. Fancy link chain is set with a clear rhinestone in each link (perhaps this is early Bogoff?) and back ends with a fancy foldover clasp which could be worn in front as well as the back. 14" makes it wearable as a dog collar or a choker, depending upon your size.

Item: NN4-065

Price: $72.50 US

•••

Description: Pink Rhinestone "Grapes" Dress Clip - This is unusual in that the clip is figural and in all pink. Done in all pink rhinestone ovals with a few small pink rounds on the stem. Potmetal setting has darkened, giving this an antique silvertone look. There is some variation in the pink, whether this is just from age or whether this was intentionally done this way, I do not know, but it is very subtle and attractive. Czech type clip mechanism, works great. 2" x 1 1/2".

Item: ND4-160

Price: $59.50 US

Description: Buckle Motif Necklace - Buckle motif pieces were apparently popular in the 1920's and 1930's, but are much more often seen on bracelets. Here we have it on a necklace. Chain is done with square clear rhinestones in a line, with the buckle pieces over the top of the chain. Buckle pieces are set with small rounds and a single baguette. Hidden push-in clasp is of excellent quality. Necklace measures 14". Stones are in very good condition and only very slightly yellowed. Originally an expensive piece, probably a match to an Allco bracelet. .

Item: NN3-074

Price: $69.50 US

Description: Photo Pin of Young Victorian Woman - Picture and frame are typical of the turn-of-the-century, with safety-pin type clasp, rolled rope edging. Oddly the photo is in quite bad shape though the clear plastic overlay seems completely undamaged, so I am assuming that the photo was quite worn before it was inserted. Approximately 1" in diameter. Slight dings along circumference of frame, otherwise excellent vintage condition. The woman has a lovely, sweet face that is quite haunting. Who was she? We'll never know, but someone in her youth around the turn of the 20th century.

Item: NP4-067

Price: $15.00 US

•••

Description: Large Purple and Clear Rhinestone Dress Clip - Pyramidal design uses prong set rectangular purple rhinestones accented by small clear rounds. Potmetal setting, about 2 1/4" x 2", much too large to have been part of a duette or pair of clips. Beautiful and in excellent condition.

Item: ND4-244

Price: $39.50 US

•••

Description: Silver Cutwork Pin with Clear Stones in Graduated Sizes - Marked "Silver" on the back in the center, this uses the quality "backwards" safety clasp; stones are bead hand set. As would be expected of an approximately 90 year old piece, the stones have darkened and one tiny stone on the end is missing. Otherwise in excellent original condition. 2 3/8" x not quite 1/2" at widest point. Very nice workmanship, probably a relatively expensive piece.

Item: NP4-148

Price: $27.50 US

•••

Description: Sash Pin with Floral Foliate Motif and Madeira Topaz Rhinestones - All prong set stones are the color of dark honey and are uniform in color in person (I'm not sure why they look darker on one end in the picture). Domed construction, 3 1/4" x 1 5/8", heavy C-clasp and pinstem. Lovely piece.

Item: NP4-149

Price: $39.50 US

•••

Description: Deco Bracelet with Clear Rhinestones/Potmetal - Don't let the low price on this fool you, this bracelet is definitely worth having and looks really lovely when worn. About 7 1/2" long and 5/8" wide, this multi link bracelet fits very nicely. I replaced a couple of missing rhinestones, but the reason for the low price is that one connecting link was slightly mashed and was difficult to set the missing stone in precisely the right place. Slight unnoticeable defect, bargain price!

Item: NB4-177

Price: $27.50 US

•••

Description: Red Stylized Floral Brooch - The same design as the green and topaz brooch on pg. 5 of this section. All stones are red, with the marquises and baguettes being very slightly darker than the rest. Larger stones are all prong set, excellent condition, with minimal wear to high points on the foiling of the open backed stones. 3 1/8" x 2 5/8". Slight space between two baguettes on the stem but that seems to be typical of these pieces, and I don't believe it is a case of a replacement.

Item: NP4-237
