Lisner
One of the interesting things about the internet has been finding out that LOTS of people (including me) really like Lisner, and that there is respect in the collecting community for this brand. The translucent leaf line is one of the most desired type of design by this manufacturer, as well as the more complex colored rhinestone pieces. And don't overlook the 1960's plastics, as appreciation for these pieces increases.

Description: Lisner Blue Faux Moonstone/Blue Rhinestone Necklace and Earring Set - A little more rare than the "just rhinestone" sets, this has light blue glass moonstone oval cabochons surrounded by light sapphire and light sapphire aurora borealis rhinestones, all set in silvertone. Clip earrings are 1 1/8" x 5/8", and adjustable hook necklace extends to 16". Two rhinestones are replacements but you will not be able to tell where they are, otherwise excellent original condition. Description: Lisner Fall Colors Rhinestone Necklace and Earring Set - Done in smokey topaz, Colorado topaz and topaz aurora borealis rhinestones, this is in excellent original condition with no replacements that I can see. Goldtone plating is in top condition. Little if any signs of wear, this must have been saved for special occasions. Description: Lisner Multi Pastel Rhinetone Question Mark Brooch and Earring Set - I find the multi pastel by Lisner to have almost the identical appeal that the Hollycraft multi pastel pieces do. Shades of pink, jonquil, aqua, light blue, lime green and lavender are used to make these wearable with almost any pastel shade clothing. This is one of the few "dangling" styles of earring/ brooch that Lisner every used; the question mark motif was apparently quite popular at a certain point in the 1950's. The 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" brooch is all original to my knowledge; however, someone has changed the earring findings, and though they have used Lisner clips (the original findings may have been screwbacks), they have used goldtone clips instead of the silvertone that is found in the rest of the pieces. Also, the light blue dangle stones in the earrings are replacements. These flaws do not affect the wearability but need to be noted for accuracy. Brooch is excellent condition, earrings are as noted.

Description: Lisner Necklace in Multi Blue Rhinestones/Silvertone - Probably my favorite of all the Lisner designed necklaces, this was also produced in red, green, purple, and topaz variations. Here we have a mixture of Montana (navy) blue ovals and rounds, medium sapphire rounds, and sapphire aurora borealis round rhinestones. Link style with adjustable hook and chain closure, will fit up to a 16" neck. Excellent condition; one stone is a sapphire ab where it should be just a sapphire but has been glued in so securely by the previous owner that I have left it rather than take a chance on ruining the piece.
