Description: Matisse White Enamel Necklace - What a striking piece for someone with darker skin or a nice suntan. Trapezoidal shaped white enamel sections are bordered with copper and flanked by oxidized "shutters" . Typical adjustable hook and tail closure with "weight" on the end of the tail. This piece has been worn by previous owner and underside shows wear as seen in picture two. One of the white trapezoids shows a tiny stain? (see third picture) and another is slightly worn on the edges. Oxidized shutters are also quite worn in spots. These flaws are only noticeable under close scrutiny but I have priced accordingly. Description: Unsigned Copper and Green Enamel Necklace - When Renoir/Matisse was in its heyday other companies took notice and followed suit. While this is certainly made to look like a Matisse piece from a design standpoint, the findings used and the quality and look of the enamel/laquer coating do not look like Matisse. However, it is still a very attractive necklace, with a green, black and white spatter pattern with the green the predominant color and no high-gloss laquer finish. In very good-excellent condition with only a few dings to the enamel . Adjustable hook and chain back section which is copper plated but I don't believe is copper, however the front part of the necklace does look to be all copper. Adjusts up to 15". Great for fall. Description: Renoir Flame Cuff Bracelet and Earrings - Another great Renoir set. Cuff measure slightly less than 1 inch wide and measures 5.75" outside and 5.5" inside. Description: Copper Leaf Pendant with Scrolling Stem - Very similar to pieces of Rebajes that came in several variations, this is an unsigned pendant with no chain. 3-D design with anodized center, in very good condition with minor wear marks along edges. Description: Matisse White Enamel Necklace Set. What a great design, and absolutely stunning against tanned skin. Necklace adjusts to fit up to a 17" neck; clip earrings are 1.25" x 0.75". Enamel on one earring is starting to crack at the top but is not noticeable except upon very close scrutiny.

Description: Renoir Concentric Square Earrings - I have seen these referred to as "Art Deco" earrings; well, these miss Art Deco by a couple of decades but are certainly geometric in conception. Description: Unsigned Matisse Leaf Earrings - I was unable to find a pattern name for these earrings but I did find identical use of enamel colors/techniques in signed Matisse pieces, and this uses the identical clip finding to what Matisse normally used. Description: Renoir Matisse "Inca" Cuff Bracelet - Actually Inca is the cuff frame design but I am not certain that the enameling pattern is correctly called Inca as it looks more abstract Oriental to me. Whatever this is called, it is a very contemporary looking design that is around 50 years old! The enamel is a very slightly cream-white with aqua circles and dark blue lines in both plaques; the rest of the piece is characteristically copper. I have photographed this with a flash camera in halogen lighting to any scratches on the piece are greatly magnified and not noticeable except under close scrutiny. Two tiny parallel lines in one corner of one plaque may be a scratch but I cannot feel any roughness, and is difficult to see even in extremely bright light such as used in this picture. 1 1/2" at widest point, this fits a small wrist comfortably. Description: Matisse Renoir "Nile" Cuff Bracelet - A cross-over style hinged bangle done with blue and green enameling in triangular plaques running most of the way around the bracelet (colors appear more intense in person, flash camera "washed out" the color somewhat). Copper frame has some light scratches from wear/storage, as is typical of a bracelet that has been worn a few times. Plaques show very slight wear along edges. Hinge works fine but one tab has come away from the top; this does not affect the wearing of this piece. This fits a small wrist. About 1" at wide point of the by-pass. Description: Matisse Green Enameled Copper Spiral Earrings - Green enamel with lots of splotches of yellow and white tops a copper spiral. Clip back mechanisms, about 1 1/4" x 3/4".
