Description: Catamore Goldfilled Moderne Shell Cameo Brooch - Catamore seems to be a company that has been in business for quite some time, and has produced a wide range of jewelry, in base metal, sterling, and gold-filled. This more contemporary looking cameo (upturned nose, simple dress style) is carved from shell, setting is rectangular rather than the more traditional ovals, with the bead edge frame accented with leaves and deco-looking parallel line "wings". Description: Cameo with Extended Pinstem - This shell cameo is a bit of a mystery to me. An almost identical cameo is shown on p. 99 of the Clements' Cameos: Classical to Costume , listed as a mid-19th century pendant with an etched and beaded frame. I would have guessed this to be an older cameo except that even though the pin stem is extended, the locking safety clasp does not appear to be a replacement, and as locking safety clasps were not in general use until the 1930's, it would appear that this is not mid-19th century. So, if I'm wrong, you get a real bargain! The bezel set cameo measures 13/16" x 9/16", frame measures 1 1/2" x 1 3/8". Item: PP1-006 Price: $87.50 US |

Description: Black Composite Cameo Hinged Link Bracelet - This piece looks as if it was hardly ever worn. Victorian Revival piece using a plastic cameo figure applied to a black glass base. Slightly tapered links have a floral and foliate design, using black enamel?? to make the goldtone pattern show in relief. Substantial feeling, difficult to measure because the links are curved but should easily fit a standard 7" wrist size. 1 5/8" at widest point in the center.
